In the most elevated of “cookout” experiences, EBONY pulled up a seat at “The Table,” an experiential dining event co-hosted by Alicia Keys and Mercedes-Benz USA that celebrated innovators and creators breaking boundaries in their fields.
“Tonight’s event is all about celebrating and bringing diverse perspectives to the table, which is why I’m so excited to be part of this initiative with Mercedes-Benz,” Keys told EBONY. “I believe that part of what drives me to express myself across creative industries is that I am always seeking to grow. I’m always curious, and I’m always seeking out diverse perspectives and ideas, which helps fuel my creative fire.”
Creating what can only be described as an exquisite and incredible night, EBONY social producer Kai Bailer and her guest arrived in style, chauffeured to the event in a Mercedes-AMG EQE. Larrabee Studios owner Manny Marroquin hosted a cocktail hour with a live DJ. Swizz Beatz, Andre Day, Bad Boys: Ride or Die star Jacob Scipio and The Fall Guy‘s Winston Duke were among the celebrity guests in attendance.
During an intimate tour of the property, EBONY stood in the same studio where Michael Jackson recorded his eighth studio album and had an in-studio listening experience of Ayoni’s music. The singer/songwriter was mentored in the She Is The Music organization, which Keys founded.
EBONY and guests indulged in an ultimate four-course dining experience with wine pairings at Verse Los Angeles, curated by Chef Oscar Torres. Dishes included Santa Barbara uni, Chicken Pepian Tetela and Lamb T-bone, followed by a cardamom caramel flan with caviar for dessert. Ayoni gave an exciting dinner performance to top off this most elevated and curated night.
